Author Bio: Michelle has been an avid yoga practitioner for just shy of 20 years and a professional yoga teacher since March 2012, specializing in Vinyasa Yoga and Yin Yoga. She honestly admits she went to her first yoga class kicking and screaming, but she was instantly hooked. The practice of using her breath to connect to her body was illuminated and helped her spend less time in her busy head, and she could not believe how great yoga made her feel. Even with almost 10 years of experience teaching yoga, Michelle still considers herself a student first. She has found that the practice of yoga has led her to look at recurring patterns in her life and learn and grow from them in an extremely rewarding way. Michelle is an E-RYT 500 with an extensive and well-rounded list of yoga certifications including her 200-hour RYT from Verge Yoga Center (Wayne, PA), 300-hour Agni Moksha RYT (Main Line Yoga Shala), Yin YTT with Corinna Benner (Wake Up Yoga), ChildLight Yoga Teacher Training, Wall Vinyasa I and II YTT (with Erica Taxin Bleznak) Sequencology Teacher Training (with Lori McAlister) and The Deep Roots of Yoga Immersion (with Yoganand Michael Carroll). She additionally has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from Villanova University, and she was selected as a Lululemon Ambassador in 2015.
