Tessa Jenkins has been teaching at Bulldog Yoga Online since its founding, and she is additionally the training director and manager at Bulldog Yoga studios.
Tessa is a former ICU nurse and International Clinical Trial manager who discovered her love of yoga 15 years ago after turning to the practice to reduce stress from her busy corporate life and prevent injury from endurance sports, especially running and cycling.
She is an E-RYT 500, specializing in Power Yoga, who completed her 200-hour YTT at Power Yoga Works (Malvern, PA) in 2015 and her 300-hour YTT at Yoga Garden (Narberth, PA).
Tessa has over 6 years of experience teaching yoga. She has discovered her inner badass and powerful goddess self through yoga, and she wants all of her students to recognize the same within themselves when they practice. Tessa was interviewed by Philly Magazine for their Be Well Philly section and popular Sweat Diaries column.
Tessa is additionally a certified holistic health counselor (Institute of Integrative Nutrition). She is extremely passionate about empowering her clients to be the best version of themselves through nutrition, yoga and meditation. Tessa received her bachelor’s in nursing (RN/BSN) from Blooms University of Pennsylvania. Tessa lives in Chester County, Pennsylvania with her husband, two daughters and rescue dog, Gypsy.
