Daria Johnston has over 15 years of experience practicing yoga, and she has been teaching yoga for close to 5 years. Growing up, her best friend’s mom was an Ashtanga Yoga instructor, and she would always tag along with her as a kid and fell in love with yoga at an early age.
Daria also has an extensive background in dance, debuting in ContempraDANCE Theatre Company (Wayne, PA) at age 4, and she was a member of the ContempraDANCE Youth Dance Ensemble from ages 7 through 18. Daria additionally attended the Creative and Performing Arts High School (CAPA) in Philadelphia.
In addition to performing, teaching various styles of dance, and assisting in the operation of her family-owned dance school, Daria’s other passion is certainly yoga. She is a 300-hour YTT Yoga Instructor, receiving her certification in Jivamukti Yoga in Costa Rica. Daria received her bachelor of arts degree in African American Studies from Temple University, and is currently pursuing her master of fine arts in Dance at Temple University. Daria is additionally the manager at Bulldog Yoga studios.
